A New Challenge
We are always looking to get involved with software development, and this website project was right up our alley! One Man in a Van.com is a website where local, small scale HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors, can create posts and advertise their business. Potential customers can then use the website to find these contractors, hire them, and even write reviews, all for free! Our challenge was to modify endless lines of PHP code to incorporate Google maps to show the closest results to the customer, allow user reviews of the contractor, and enable to contractor to sign up themselves. We also did some logo work and arranged the pages so they flow more naturally and make sense.
